crochet art?

does anyone know of any artists that crochet?
i'm trying to find more "fine art" crochet. i have to make a mask for a textiles course and just want to see how artists work with 3D forms in crochet as more an art form, than a craft project.

i do not intend to offend anyone by this post. i love cute crochet but this class requires more conceptual ideas than cute, easy ideas.
