I'm thinking of crocheting my boyfriend a scarf for his birthday.

Last year I went all out and got him a few very creative gifts along with a scrapbook (which took me 3 weeks to complete) and I feel as if I used up all of my gift ideas at once!

Anyway, it would be absolutely wonderful if you lovely and crafty people could help me with either:
1. Additional ideas for good gifts for a boyfriend!
2. Good patterns / fave yarn for men's scarves!

Thank you so much in advance ♥

And just so this isn't text only,

here is a photo of my octopus raku! His head opens into a little pot.

I created this cardboard castle using a cardboard mold found one finds encasing new appliances and electronics. I made the minarets with paper clay and gold leaf.

I’m making a baby quilt, and I usually just make some blocks and then figure out how to lay them out.

What do you all think? Which should I go with?

Hi ladies and gents, my overlocker/serger isn't working properly and I think maybe the two tiny needles that lie flat next to the stitch finger have come off.. is there a name for them and are they easy to replace? I have no idea how I managed to do it. Thanks in advance!
