I have this box I painted a long time ago. With a few adjustments I figured I could in into my plug box!

I saw a lounge cover up in a magazine, that reminded me of a basic poncho, and got the idea that maybe you could get discount silk sheets an do this yourself instead of trying to deal with a copmpany who thinks a size 3x is a size 20 28 .

Hello Lovelies!

You might remember me as Topknot_Forever, the girl who used to make the A Mess bracelets. I've moved my art and crafts to this account and its been much to long since my last post. I recently learned to crochet, and after a month of making blankets out of granny squares I tried lots of different, simple patterns and have realized, sadly, that I seem incapable of crocheting anything other than simple granny squares. So I decided to see just what I could make out of granny squares.

Here are some of the things I've come up with so far.

Look! )

I'm glueing very small rhinestones to small plastic clips and trying to only use a drop of glue but I still get that white film and it really shows up on the black clips.
Is there any way to avoid this when using crazy glue? I'm using the gel by the way though both kinds seem to leave a film.
Is there some other glue I could try? Contact cement perhaps or will it also have that white residue? Glue gun glue wont be strong enough. I opted for crazy glue for strength and the tiny nozzle.

Please help!
Thanks :)

Um... beware lots and lots of photos?

Hope you're ready for lots and lots of pics, because I've been one extremely busy Craftgrrl! I've broken everything down into cuts, for your (hopefully) viewing pleasure... ^_^

Art pendants, which I may have already posted some of, but now they've on matching beaded strands, and there's at least one new one! )

Big, bold, beaded bracelets! )

Lots and lots of beaded necklaces! ) Jewelry sets - Necklaces with matching bracelets and/or earrings! )

A while ago, I put up a poll on my own LJ, asking which version of Ravenclaw's colors everybody liked best. It had something to do with the stuff behind this next cut... I couldn't decide which colors would look best in the necklace, though, so I ended up going with a blend of both, for Ravenclaw...
Finally revealed - A set of four Hogwarts-inspired lariat necklaces! )

And... that's everything! ^_^

No occasion greeting cards are kind of my favorite thing. People like to feel appreciated on days other than Christmas or their birthday! At least I do anyway.
Today, work was slow and my coworker started telling me about how neglected she has been feeling at the hands of her boyfriend. So, with a little paper and paste I produced a less than subtle hint for the negligent boyfriend.

Warning: It's a little on the NSFW side. Click here to see what kind of surprise he's in for.... )

Silly question, but where does one find handkerchiefs? Like the dainty lady ones that are good for embroidering?
