I knit! I've tried a handful of times in the past but always got frustrated and confused. But I did it tonight! I knit and purled and did a tiny little swatch. It all went to hell when I tried to make ribbing, and even worse when I tried casting off, but I frogged that part and managed to pick up the stitches and relearned how to cast off thanks to a YouTube video. (Not that anyone wants to see a really poor photo of my n00b attempt, but
here it is.)
Anyway, I want to make a baby sweater so, so bad. A larger size would be a good idea as it will surely take me forever and my daughter's already in 9 month size. I'm about to go browse Ravelry (I've only ever used it for crochet--searching knitting patterns is exciting!). But if anyone has resources for the world's easiest pattern(s), I'd love to see it!
