Naughty and nice blanket

I would like to ask for some suggestions please!

My best friends and I are doing a secret santa. The challenge is that you have to give a "nice" gift and a "naughty" gift and EACH gift has to be under $10.

I would really love to give my secret person a blanket and make one side the naughty side and the other side the nice side. Now the hard part, how to do this for under $20? I am a basic beginner at sewing, knitting and embroidering so one of those skills has to somehow come in handy but I would really love your help before I dive head first into this project! I'm thinking I can use a thrift store to my advantage too- I have a big trip planned this upcoming week so any ideas involving things I can find there would be awesome.

If you had about a yard of light pink leather, what would you do with it? My dad sells car seats and someone had ordered a bunch of leather ($500 bucks worth!) but never came to pick it up. Now he has these big pieces of various colored leather and nothing to do with them. He brought me home some pink to play around with, but I have no idea what to do.
A purse, maybe?? No clue!
