So I recently stumbled upon Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needles and it sounds pretty awesome. Has anyone bought the set and could tell me how they've been working out? I'm a poor university student but if it's worth it, I'll totally run down to a local yarn store and buy them ASAP.

Bonus question: I'm making circular scarves for two boys aged 5 and 6. What would be an appropriate width and length? (They live in another province, so I can't measure them)

The covers of this book were salvaged from a vintage children's science textbook.

The interior covers and spine reinforcements are made with bright golden yellow batiked paper.

i've been making these little suckers all day today. so easy. i live right by the ocean so the shells are free and in endless supply. all i have to do is drill a hole with my dremel, pull some pretty ribbon through with tweezers and tie a knot. VOILA. i plan on tying them to everyone's present.
