I went up and back on how I wanted to make a growth chart for my daughterLily, but I finally decided to not buy any materials and work with what I have (which is fun!). I used some old canvas-like fabric that was covering our ugly end table in the corner, seamed up the sides, and painted on it with some ancient acrylic paints. A painter I am not, and the flower kept getting worse and worse as I went on, but I think it ended up looking sort of like a lily (not what it started out as, that's for sure), so that's nice.

This is my take on Mina Harker, had she been turned completely, and confined by Dr Seward. It was a flight of fantasy, no real reason, it just came about for its own sake. I made the corset, straightjacket, bustle and drape, garters, and the fascinator. The frillies and tank were bought, stockings my own, boots the model's own.
