Dyeing tanned furs

Need some advice here- I am wanting to dye some fur. What dyes do you recommend? I know nothing about dyes, so give me some lessons here. Dyes for dummies, please.

I hear RIT sucks from numerous sources, so... what else is available? Preferably IN STORES or easy to order on a site (doncha hate it when you get a link to some awesome product but there's no page to order or contact? happened to me twice this week, wtf people?).

Spring is so much more motivating for crafts, isn't it? I'm just so glad winter is finally breaking. The nice weather's been inspiring, so I've been trying to be busy lately.
