They aren't all that exciting but I am really proud of them.

I started making these big, chunky, swirly focal beads recently. They are lampwork glass (made in a torch by hand).

Guys!

I know I haven't been around much, but I promise I'm still crochet and stuff. I even sewed a dress once!

Okay, so here is what I want to show you:

I haven't posted in forever. I've been so busy with work and classes that I just haven't had time. I do now though!

Loads of new stuff to post so let's get to it!

Extremely picture heavy! )

A bit of an odd question that I'm not sure if any of you will be able to help with.

I purchased an old and well loved stroller that's in great condition, but the fabric is faded. Well, half of it is faded anyway. This picture doesn't show it well...

It's the red part that's faded and shows wear while the grey part is just fine. I was thinking of using red dye or screen printing ink to freshen it up, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. I'd of course test a hidden section first, and screen printing ink is more readily available to me than good (not RIT) dye. The red fabric gets darker when it's wet, so that makes me think it has at least some fiber that's absorbent/able to take dye/ink, yes? Any input?
