I absolutely fell in LOVE with these pendants when I saw them at the store about a month ago. Sadly, I didn't have any money so I had to wait and pray they didn't sell out. So when I got paid the other day, I quickly went to see if they were still there...and luckily, they were! So I snagged them and bought a few other supplies. Really, these are my first attempts at any kind of serious jewelery. I'm almost kind of tempted to redo them. At first I was going to use headpins but decided, instead, to use wire. Now I almost want to redo them and use the headpins. I like them as is...but some of the wire is a little bent and it makes the beads go at a weird angle at times. Not sure if I really want to redo all that, though. They're the longest pair of earrings I've ever worn and also the heaviest...but I love them and I'm sure I'll get use to them (I'm just not use to hanging earrings period).
Sorry for the kind of sucky picture. It's night here, my bedroom has very bad lighting and I had to use the flash. Maybe I'll take some better pictures tomorrow and even get a close up to the small metal beads.
On a completely different note...I was recently thinking of snagging some quilting books from my local library but I have no clue where to start. Anyway have any suggestions for me?
