Crafty ways to Organize

I looked on Google and a lot of what I'm getting is ways to organize a craft room.  That's all fine and dandy and I might get ideas on how to organize my future craft room (yeah, right on the craft room thing) but I'm looking for crafts that are organization projects in disguise. xD  Like, something I can make to organize my desk, the top of my dresser, drawers and inside of my closet.  Do you guys have any ideas on some things I could maybe try out that is easy and cheap?
