Gluing magnets to makeup packaging

Hi everyone!

I made a magnetic board to organize my makeup by covering a magnetic dry erase board with some cute fabric. I originally glued magnets to my makeup containers using a hot glue gun, but the magnets are constantly falling off. Does anyone have any suggestions for a glue that'll provide a better bond? I redid a few last night using a sample of e-6000 that I had lying around, but I wanted to find out if that's the best option before I run out to buy some more. The magnets are just cheapie round magnets from Michaels that come in packs of 50.
