So I finally did it; I finished my first (and probably only ever) solid 18k gold moon tree pendant!

I hope that the gold market falls drastically (and soon) because a) it will mean that our economy is doing well, and b) I will get to play with more yummy buttery 18k gold wire! There's really no other wire that feels like it. I've had this wire sitting around for a couple of years, feeling scared of it and looking for just the right stone/s to use with it. Then, on 7/7, this rainbow moonstone called out to me. Do you see the little 7 in the stone? I like the number 7.

Anybody know where I can find a pattern for a wine bottle cover/cozy knit in the round on circular needles? I tried searching for knit in the round patterns but all that comes up are patterns that use dpns and I hate to work with dpns. I've already got a pattern knit flat on two needles that I downloaded from knitty.com but I really want to try knitting in the round since it leaves no seams.

I've only recently realized I had forgotten about the anniversary of my Tudor Project!
It was on February 6th, so I'm only 5 months late, no biggie. *facepalm into oblivion*

As a sort of celebration, I made a revision of the mega-post that signaled the original event over a year ago. Only this time you get to see new characters and new versions of the old ones thrown in the mix.

Word of caution: it's a BIG post.
