I knit this mouse to send to a friend who's having her first baby. She mentioned in a blog entry that she's decorating the nursery in yellow and gray, hence the colour choices. He needs whiskers.

Also, yes! There are buttons on the sweater! I know! Mama can take them off until the little is older.

Details can be found on my Ravelry page. The mouse pattern is free (modified from lamb ears to mouse ears) but the sweater pattern is not.

Hi! I'm Kathryn, and I love all kinds of crafts, but my favorite is crochet!
I learned how to crochet years ago, but have only really been making things in the last two years. I'm working on lots of different projects right now, and not just crochet either. I also love to draw and sculpt (not really crafts, so I won't be posting that here). Anyway, here are a few of the things I've made recently.

Every year I get depressed that I haven't started my Halloween crafting sooner because fall just seems to fly by! This year I'm getting a head start. Several years ago I found a photo of Halloween luminaries that someone made that of course I can't find now, so I've made my own tutorial. They are adorable, easy, and (my favorite) super cheap to make! I got a lot of the supplies at the dollar store and Christmas Tree Shops.

The tutorial is under the cut and crossposted at my journal.

Happy luminaries this-a-way! )
Enjoy!

My little guy is nine months old now and I would love for him to be a squirrel for Halloween. I have loved them for as long as I can remember. I cannot find any tutorials for the life of me. I'm in love with the style of Anne Geddes squirrel style costume. I really don't like the stores bought kind, so I'm trying to make my own. I have tried to look online and buy one, but still no luck. Could anyone please help? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
