craftgrrlI've been thinking about a halloween costume. I hate doing these at the last minute. Halloween is my favorite holiday and therefore I tend to put a lot more effort into it than I have the past two years. It's kind of tough though with the schedule I've had lately.
Last year Sirinek and I were going to be Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, but unfortunately our plans fell through and were unable to go out. He still has his Peter Pan costume, but I'm not really feeling Tinkerbell-ish. So I've been thinking about things to construct and I *REALLY* want to make some wings. I am thinking something batty - but I haven't made wings before, so I may have to do some trial and error.
Tomorrow I'm buying some 16 gauge wire and I already have some tights...but I'm wondering how I should attach the wires so that I can wear the wings. Hot glue and elastic? I need some sort of base. Any ideas?
