craftgrrlawhile ago someone [outshine] posted a link on how to make hand warmers. i was wondering if anyone else knew of any other patterns to make hand warmers. i am going to college soon and will be walking to class 40 minutes everyday -- not to mention i live in minnesota. i will be needing something to keep my hands warm. unfortunately, i cannot afford to buy pie weights... as they are expensive. i was wondering if there was an alternative to pie weights and any other fabrics i could use besides cashmere. & thank you in advance.
