i don't know what to do... i need ideas for a new purse pattern. i don't mind having to make the pattern up myself, but i need visual ideas in order to come up with a pattern. i have a green and a black faux velvet-like material (that has what you might consider crinkles; i don't know how to describe it) and a really cool printed cotton that goes with both of the other two. my main idea is that the velvet-like fabric will be the outside of the purse and the print will be the lining. i need to make these by saturday as i am going to be selling them then. any ideas would be appreciated.

these are kind of crappy scans, but you'll get the idea of the fabrics...i didn't include the black b/c it wouldn't show up, but it looks just like the green, just black.

sawahbean and can't believe i just found out about it. i am currently majoring in interior design and enjoy sewing, just started learning to crochet (thanks to ana for that one...after i saw her hats i felt compelled to learn right away), i collect pigs (not real ones, but the collectible kind must be different than the norm...i hate those stupid pink pigs that are laying on their backs looking totally stupid), and yoga when i can get around to it. wanna know anything else, just ask...
