I've just joined your community and thought I'd say hello. My name is nicole and i am a student at the Tyler School of Art, just outside of Philadelphia. I am a major in the Jewelry Design/Metalsmithing/CAD-CAM department. I'm also a seasoned knitter and seamstress. I tend to be very craft oriented in all I do and am interested to see what others are up to as well as getting some input on my own work...


This is a ring project I just finished for my Jewelry 153 class. It's titled "Unions" and is constructed from Silver, Acrylic plastic and Rubber. The rings are held in by tension, when the center rod is removed the rings can be taken out and worn separately. The second image is the ring being worn, as intended, by two people, palm to palm.
