What can I do with this stuff?
Nov. 10th, 2003 02:29 pmIm sure Im not the only one who goes a little craft crazy when they hit Michael's (or whatever other store they shop at). About a month ago, I went with the intent of getting into rubber stamping. That was until I saw how expensive stamps are. man. I am on a college budget that includes very very little money. Anyway, the trip ended up getting me into glass painting, which I love not. Here are some of the things Ive got. Most of them are seemingly unrelated, but I know that most of you are very crafty and can think of some cool (easy would be great!) projects I can do:
tiny magnents
markers
glass paints
glass vases
plain white photo box
1 ceramic tile
wood blocks (they arent really blocks. they are in the shape of thick tiles)
tons of seed beads
tons of that clear stretchy stuff you can thread beads on (i cant seem to make knots, so i havent made any jewelery)
plain white note cards
plain white bookmarks
that thread stuff for cross stitching - ive got pretty much every color. (I was a cross stitching fool back in 8th grade when my teacher taught us for a project. that was back in '98 so ive been collecting colors since then)
travel die cuts
mint skittles containers
tic tac boxes
an "Ex Libris" stamp (Im an avid book reader and collector, so if youve got tips on bookplates, Id love those)
small ribbons tied into bows
little tiny star patches
I also have an izon camera that I got as a gift, but Ive never bought film because I have no idea what (productive) think i could do with the little stickers
Some of these things I bought recently, some Ive had for a few months, others for ages. I just look at all the stuff I have and cant figure out a single thing to do with them all.
I also have a ton of magazines. I dont really want to cut them up but I will if i get some really cool ideas on what to do with the pictures.
thanks sooo much!
