i've decided what i'm doing for my family for christmas.

mom: rice bag
dad: homemade barbecue apron
grandma: embroidered hankie
uncle: fleece blanket
brother: pillow(s)

so my questions are:
what's the best way to decorate the apron?
what is a good design for the hankie?
what's the easiest way to make the blanket look nice?
i want to make him a set of pillows to match his green futon/simpsons blanket. any ideas?

and i want one small present (about $5) to go with each. any ideas? homemade or not is fine.
