So I decided to make some of these for my friends for christmas

Now to be super original...I have some questions:

1. Is there any way to reinforce it or pad it or make it more sturdy purse like? It seems like it would be kind of flimsy to me.

2. Is there a cheap way to make new handles/ make the original handles less...boring? Would putting grommets on the sides work?

3. I'm making linoleum stamps of my friends faces for an art book and I thought it would be cool to use the stamps on fabric for these purses. What kind of paint should I use? Would hand printing or using a press work better?
