a couple crocheted hats.

single stitched with some leftover lionbrand jiffy yarn i had lying around and crystal palace yarns deco-ribbon. pattern adjusted from an old pillbox hat pattern.

made this with some gorrrrrrgeous italian yarn i got a shop which i am now going to try to visit as often as i can and spend way too much money there. hehe. it is (as far as i can tell from the confusing label) ggh esprit 100% polyamid (microfaster) nylon. ridiculously soft. i love it. it's kind of similar to lionbrand polarspun yarn in the texture, but much muuuuuuch softer with the cute little eyelash bits.

i am sooo glad i have such gorgeous local yarn shops. i've tried ordering yarn online, but nothing beats being able to pick up and feel the yarn itself.
