decorated candles...
Nov. 25th, 2003 11:35 amSo, inspired by a previously made post, I was thinking about making some of those wrapping paper candles for some Christmas presents.
My question is...
The gift shop that I work in sells lots of nice gift wrap stuff, and lots of really pretty printed tissue paper. Would the tissue paper/wax paper/vellum be a bad idea to cover a candle with, would it cause more harm than good in the end when you lit the candle?
I know I've seen somebody on Trading Spaces use vellum on candles, but I can't remember if they did anything special to it to make it candle-ready...and I think I've seen this post in this community before but I can't find it now! So sorry if it's doubled up!
Thanks in advance!
