details and a how-to here

top: all three egyptian spiral braclets.
middle: the first that i made as a project in my jewelry/metals class in highschool. made from a nickel/silver alloy, all i used were pliers, 20g.
bottom: made from 22g green painted wire and blue seed beads. this was just for fun, took about an hour. reminds me of a peacock.

here's how to make one too
you will need: wire, needle-nose pliars, wire cutters, patience

first, you will need to make practice links, like so:

i suggest that you start big, like, make your first link as long as 3-4 inches, and work from there. you decide how much curl you want. when you fold it over you can tell how flexable your braclet will be if you use those exact same size links. when its folded, if that looped end is as long as the curls - the braclet will be less flexable. if the looped end is way longer, it will be way more flexable. find a happy medium, just don't forget the lenghts you try - write it down.

when you find a good size for your links, start putting them together! with the first link, close it up - like in my diagram. obviosly, the side with the spirals out will be the pretty outside. hold the first link facing toward you, grab your second link, pull/push the loop end through the other loop. its easiest if you slightly squish the new link's loop, then widen it again with round tipped needle nose pliars once it is attatched. in my diagram there, the last image with the different colored links, that emphasises the BACK. so, if your not sure if you put your first two links together right, turn it around. does it look like the bold part of the picture? because it should!

if any of this did not make sense, or if yours doesn't seem to work, let me know and i'll clarify as needed :)
