any good links for how to do a photo transfer onto glass or ceramic?

I want to transfer a photo of my friend's dog onto a pint glass or a coffee mug. I've never done this before. Does anyone have any good sites that I could look at and/or suggestions for particular (i.e. brand-specific) materials? Thanks!
