Dec. 1st, 2003 02:47 pmThis year for christmas, I don't have alot of money, so I decided to make scarfs for my 3 brothers and their wives. All together it amounts to 5 scarfs. My 2 older brothers are married, my younger one is not.
Anyways, I love the Lion Brand Homespun yarn and was wondering where the cheapest place to get it was.
I have a Wal-Mart, A Micheals, An A.C. Moore nearby. I'm going to need 5 skeins of it because I believe each skein will make one scarf.
Also, does anyone know any yarn that is close to this in feel? I know it is about $5.00 a skein where I live.
I'm jst wondering it all...Maybe I will make my mom one too....
herm.
So in making a scarf with this yarn, is my best bet doing a doouble stitch or a single stitch?
