hand muff?

craftgrrli've been wanting to make a hand muff - you know, it's a tube of fur you use instead of mitten - out of monster fur(!) for a while. does anyone have any patterns or ideas on how to make one? i'm not a big sewing-person but i'd be willing to spend some quality time laboring. :)
