Greetings from a lurker...
Dec. 5th, 2003 03:54 pmGreetings all. I've been lurking for a few weeks, now, and I must say, you all are amazing! I've gotten so many ideas and so much inspiration for projects. I'm having a blast with these marble magnets. I have a question, though. Why does nobody use super glue? I have been, and it's worked beautifully so far, but I haven't seen any other posts in which people are using super glue. Is there something I don't know about it? Just curious. I was also wondering if anyone knew of any other ideas for felt? I love the stuff and I have a ton of it since it's so cheap. I've looked through the FAQs/Memories, but I was wondering if there were any other ideas you all had come up with? I made these doll last year for some friends of mine and their characters from the anime Inu Yasha.

This is Inu Yasha and Miroku.

Closer pic of Miroku's hand with the hole (you'll understand if you're familiar with the show.) ^^
Very basic instructions are from here through the "anime dolls" link at the bottom. The Inu Yasha doll on the site has been added since I made mine. I wish it had been up then! lol. Still, I was pleased with the way mine came out. I have a few other things I hope to post soon when I get pics uploaded.
[edit] Miroku's staff was made with plain white sculpy (wrapped the stick part around part of a coat hanger to make it stronger) and I'm working on Inu Yasha's sword as I type! I'll post pics of it when it's done.
