marble magnet glue?

craftgrrlokay, i want to make marble magents but i'm not sure hwt glue to use.
i found a huge jar of "Glossy Finish Podge-It Plus" from White Rose in my cupboard, but i'm pretty sure it's about 9 years old. Would it be okay to use for marble magnets or would it make them look funny, either because it's
a) glossy
b) podge stuff
c) 9+ years old?
