Dec. 8th, 2003 03:33 pmI just moved in with my boyfriend and I want to do something special for his birthday and Christmas, so I'm painting his office (color of his choice) and since he is getting into woodworking I was planning on cleaning out the garage and making a workarea for him (pegboard, metal shelving, etc).
So here is the "crafty" part. I've been really getting into the DIY Scrapbooking show and was thinking about making a card that symbolized both things. I connect samples of paint chips with a star shaped brad. I was also thinking of doing a garage on a pull tab type of style so that he pulls the tab to raise the garage and sees a woodworking area. But I don't know how to do pull tabs. Any advice?
Also about that metal shelving. The things in the shed are rusty, and I was wondering if I scrub them with a wire brush would I be able to spray paint them?
