toaster oven for fimo creations?

I have baked fimo in my oven but now that my cats like using the oven area as their play space I don't like the idea of having to stand there and wait for my fimo to bake. I was thinking about buying a cheap toaster oven and using it just for crafty baking. Is baking fimo/clay a toaster oven safe thing to do?
