Another scarf question...

OKay ladies & gentlemen, I am not so hot at matching up colors and seeing what matches and goes together well...yada yada.
Anyways, I am making my sister-in-law a scarf in this pattern design...bumpy..whatever you call it.

the rest is behind the cuut because there are a few pictures and other questions.


This is a picture of it...about 1/4th finished:

The lighting is bad, so here is the actual color of the yarn:


I want to do a border around the edges with a pink eyelash yarn...I want your opinion on if these 2 colors go together or not...please let me know what you think



I think they look cute together, but I just wanted to know what everyone else thought.

Also, I am making scarfs for all of my brothers. I made the'rs a little longer than I made the one for my sister-in-law and my best friend..because my brothers are tall and my sister-in-law and best friend are my height..like 5'4". My brothers are all over 6 feet. Where they got it from..I have no idea as my parents are both around my height...
Back to the point of this post....

I don't have enough yarn to make them as wide as I want to and I am sorta on the broke side right now so I cannot go out and buy another skein of each color..What I can do is buy one more skein and it would be more than enough to do the borders on all three.
Now I am thinking a black border for all three...what do you think?
