some fleece help, if you would...

craftgrrlOkay, so I got the bright idea to make some of those no sew fleece blankets for some of my cousins. I made three, they turned out great (I used the "kits" that they sell at JoAnn's -- where they give you the two pieces of fleece already cut out and such).
The problem is -- I got the bright idea to get some other fleece cut because I thought the designs were more appropriate for the kids I was giving them to. I'm an idiot, tho, and only got a yard of fleece rather than a yard and a third (like in the "kits").
So, I can't very well make the blankets out of the fleece I have, but I need to make something for them out of it.
In any case, I have 4 pieces of fleece -- two with patterns, two with matching solid colors.
The kids are both girls -- teenyboppers.
Any ideas?
