I was thinking about more "no sew" projects for some of you who don't sew. And i came up with this purse.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 1 whole pants leg from a pair of jeans (cut up the seam so you can lay it flat)

1. Cut a long 2 1/2 inch wide strip out of the jeans. This will be your strap. Cut it as long/short as you want it. Then cut up each end about 4 1/2 inces to make 3 strips (don't cut them off). Set aside.

2. Cut a large rectangular shape out of one side of the pants leg. Fold it in half. This will be the body of the purse.

3. Cut 12 holes *6 on right side 6 on left* (or more depending on how far apart/close you want them and how big your bag is. make sure it's an even number) about half an inch in, on the left and right sides of the purse (leave top alone and bottom alone). Make sure your holes on front/back are lined up.

4. Go back to your pants leg and cut 10 2x4 1/2 inch strips.

5. Cut a little over halfway up each strip to make 3 even strips (still attatched at the top).

6. Place each strip inside the purse (above bottom hole and under top hole) with the 3 strips hanging out the side. (leave a hole at the top of each row open ... this is where your strap goes).

7. Starting at the bottom of the purse, push the strip that is closest to the bottom, through the top hole. Leave the middle strip in between the top and bottom pieces and push the other strip through the bottom hole. Do this until all of your strips are through.

8. Starting at the bottom again. Tie the strip through the top hole and bottom hole into a double knot. Leave middle strip to the bottom of each knot.

9. Place one end of your carrying strap in to the top holes. (Outsides strips to top and bottom hole/middle strip hanging out of the side). Tie outside strips into double knot.

10. Tie every two "middle" strips into a double knot.

TADA!!!!! A NO SEW purse!
