so! the holiday season is overhead and underfoot, and although i get occasional waves of panic, im really loving it. this year has proved far more festive than those past. i've made about 60 marble magnets (if anyone has access to a Pottery Barn Teen catalogue, its marble magnet material heaven) that im giving to e.v.e.r.y.b.o.d.y.
making my own hot chocolate has been...delicious :) i've been adding cinnamon to some of the mixes, and crushed peppermint to some of the others. it jazzes them up a bit, and add a lot to the flavour. yum.
i'm also modifying a guitar strap for my boyfriend, something i mentioned in a previous post. i'm going to sew bits of fabric to the front and stick pins on there and such, and i wanted to pad the back. but, the question comes now: what should i pad it with? i was thinking monster fur but i don't know where i'd find any of that. something that will be comfortable on his shoulder, supporting the weight of a guitar. nice and cushy. ideas? anything? anyone? <3 you ladies...making the holidays so much easier, and so much more fun!
