crochet - many apologies if you see it twice.
I finally had a chance to see one of those awesome knitted scarves today - one that's made of eyelash yarn on huge needles and ends up being a tube that's so stretchy you can wear it as a tube top if you were so inclined. I'm not all that great at knitting, though I know enough to be able to make one, but I was wondering if the same thing would work with crochet, if I used a Q hook? Or would the double crochet end up being not as stretchy?
EDITED TO ADD: Here is a picture and a bit more information on them. I guess they're called Magic Scarves. They're becoming pretty popular, and I've seen them being sold for way too much money. I'd rather try crocheting one myself, if it's even possible to crochet something like that!
