Dec. 18th, 2003 01:38 pmI am going to do some painting in my kitchen soon. Currently the walls are brown wood paneling. Welcome to the 70's!
I am going to prime and paint the paneling bright white to open up the kitchen, but to also still semi-match the tan colored metal cabinetry.
What brand / type of primer and paint do you suggest?
Also, a small wall of the kitchen, in between the door and a cabinet, less than one foot wide, has been used as a growth chart for my husband's family for over twenty years. I don't want to paint over this section of paneling. Any ideas to 'frame' or accent this section of wall without destroying the fabulous history on it?
