my two cents
Dec. 19th, 2003 12:09 pmhello,
i've been lurking for quite a awhile, and i have to say that i am very impressed with a lot of the ideas ya'll have been posting and because of reading all of your posts, i have been inspired a lot more lately to get back into my crafty sate of mind. for x-mas, money is tight so i have been spending a lot of time making my gifts. i decided to post a pic of my latest creation. i really enjoy collaging, so i cut out some carboard squares, pasted magazine pics on them and used packing tape to seal them up and voila, you have homemade coasters. of course, they should only be used for cold beverages as the tape might melt under hot circumstances. nonetheless, i had fun and perhaps you might have some advice, comments or be inspired to make a version of your own =)
