Hey gang. Someone posted about decorated a box for a friend a while back and I thought I'd post pics of some memory boxes I made for two of my best friends a few years ago for Christmas.


Basically I just took two photo storage boxes (the thick cardboard kind) and covered every spare inch with magazine cutouts that went with the particular person I was giving it too. I added glitter, paint, photos, and tons of inside jokes and quotes.

I also just finished making a small bulletin board for a guy friend of mine. I don't really like Britney Spears, but he's obsessed with her, so I got some of those cork squares at Wal-Mart, painted one black, and made three britney stencils on my computer. Much time and a very multi-colored me later and here we go.



It didn't turn out quite as great as I'd have liked, but I wasn't sure how the colors would all go together. I'm going to make some marble thumb tacks to go with it using britney pics as well. (I have a stock pile of old seventeen, ym, teen, and other teen magazines that a friend gave me that I continuously use for cuttings!)
