<sub>so i went out and bought some thriftstore records to try making journals from for christmas.. and have crocheted so many scarves my wrist is actually a bit achy ^.^

hehe, but it's worth it.. i've saved so much money this Christmas, and have produced quality gifts!

i'm going to my mom's office tomorrow to use her paper cutter to cut the paper + also the records...




hahaha, how cool is that? This is going on the front of the journal for my friend Diana, as she is a HUUUGE LOTR dork ^.^ (and not simply the movies, the books as well.. you know what I'm Tolkien about)


i think someone mentioned using a heavy-duty paper cutter to slice their records, but i can't find the post anywhere, nor in the FAQ. do you think this will work all right?

I'll definitely post pictures of scarves, etc. when i install the upload software onto the computer ^.^

i'm just posting scarves for now.. i have pictures of a lot of things (i just now installed the software to upload pictures) so..



scarves for my mom, laura, and possibly jack
(all of these are Lion Brand homespun crocheted with a K hook using.. either 1 1/2 or double.. i don't recall. the width, etc. was done by eye. They are "prarie," "antique," and... evergreen)


currently working on this one.. it's a nice blue


picture of the yarn used.. includes a nice "brick red" i used to make my friend Allison's. I also made a beaaauuutiful deep purple for my friend Cindy, but.. I used all the yarn, so I have no visual.


scarf crocheted for my brother using 100% acrylic yarn (it's not as soft as the others) in bright orange and basic blue [ his frat. colors.. i plan on adding in stitching in contrasting colors on each end that say KDP for Kappa Delta Rho]

keeping with the crocheting theme... a guitar strap i'm creating for a friend. it's actually soft denim blue yarn.. single stich

I have some more greenish homespun yarn that i'm going to make a scarf with, as well as some soft black and light pink that i'm going to make a striped scarf with... no worries, though, I probably won't post pictures ^.^</sub>
