So the scarfs seem to have went over well, which was a big surprise. I did not think everyone would love them, but they did. My little brother Jason will open his tomorrow...I know he will like it.
The only thing was I did not have any money to buy the yarn I wanted for the borders, so my mom had to buy it for me. And I was talking to some lady at the super wal-mart we were at, and she took all the colors of the yarn I needed. She was going over to Micheal's to pick up some more and I kindly explained to her that I only needed one skein and she basically told me oh well. I mean I would have given her a skein if it were me, but she was very rude. So that made me sad.
I picked up some Coran...Corian....whatever....yarn and it was really soft. So I picked up a black and used that for a border. They turned out nice. I was just sad I could not continue with the Lion Brand yarn.
Also...we celebrated Christmas with my brothers tonight...tomorrow my mom, my younger brother and my mom will all open our presents....and I got this book from my brother and sister-in-law. It was about how to make all kinds of jewelry with paper clips. If definitely looked interesting as I have been curious about wire bending and wrapping lately...yada yada. The book is all about how to make stuff out of paper clips, but I can use it for the regular wire too. I thought that was pretty nifty.
I did not get my mom's scarf done in time, so luckily I bought a backup present to give her. It is just a bear calendar, but she loves bears, so hopefully it will work out. Also, her birthday is the 31st, so I can pass them off as birthday presents as well. *snickers
I am excited about all the after christmas sales at the craft store. I am a pack rat. I will buy stuff and put it away for next year.
Anyone else excited?

Sorry to ramble on, I just wanted to share.

Also...for those who have done the wire wrapping and twisting, what is the best gauge to work with. I cannot remember what I have..it is either 24 or 26 gauage...that I bought seperatley like a year ago....herm...
