a gift I can finally show

I made the monkey a week ago, but because I had to wait for my hubby to open it (the first night of Hanukka last Friday) I couldn't post it in lj.

But now here he is:





I was coming up short on gift ideas this year, so I ransacked my suitcase full of fabric and found this great thick brown and fuzzy fabric, so I sewed up a basic (and very lumpy) monkey form, crocheted ears and pseudo muzzle and used buttons for eyes and red yarn for his mouth.

He is so cuddly.
