My Knitting Bag...

knitting
Here is the knitting bag that I sewed up about ten days ago and finally got around to taking pics of. The striped bits are corduroy and the red/rust is moleskin. The lining is quilter's cotton and there is a touch of fusible fleece between the layers. If I were to make another one I'd make some adjustments as part of it got a bit too thick for my poor sewing machine.

There are 4 pockets on the inside for holding accessories like markers, gauge guide, measuring tape, needles etc. All my needles have been taken out to inventory so only one pocket is in use here.

This is a detail show of the stitching on the outside pocket and the beaded fringe I used.
This bag was loosely based on the bag in Stitch 'n Bitch.
When I took it to my LYS one the owners went on and on about it and told me I should make more and sell them, LOL! I don't think so, but it was a wonderful compliment! :-)
