I came across this tutorial on weaving ribbon into fish-like things: http://icandream.com/crafts/a/ribbon/fish/index.shtml

It looked pretty cool, so I decided to make one out of some 1/4" pink ribbon I had. Here are my results:



I glued the top fins together and did the same to the bottom. Then I glued the tail on instead of knotting it otherwise it would appear too knotty.

The directions are a little hard to follow, but you can click on the images and blow them up. It took me about 20 minutes to learn how to do the entire thing properly. But it would look really good if you made several and glued them to a t-shirt, a tote, or something.
