and the finished product:

instructions:
*first drill a hole through the domino. i did mine from side to side. make sure to drill with even pressure and keep the drill straight.
*sand the domino (including the sides) with fine sand paper.
*paint the top of the domino with acrylic paint - you can use a brush or you can sponge on different colors (heat set between each coat).
*then color the sides of the domino. i've used either a black sharpie which works well as long as the sharpie has a good deal of ink in it - or - you can use a krylon paint pen.
*then stamp an image onto the domino. it's easiest to lay the stamp face up on a table and then place the domino (face down) onto the stamp.
*heat set the image and then let it dry overnight. trying to work with it before it truly sets will often cause the image to smear.
*once dry, spray the top and sides very lightly with an acrylic sealer. once dry, i spray decoart's triple thick diamond gloss glaze on the top to give it that extra glossy glow.
*if you're using jewels on the domino then skip the glazing step and adhere them with a glue dot pen. once dry, coat the whole domino with diamond glaze.
*then just strand them up with your favorite beads and you're done :)
