yarn & wire & beads & hooks & oh my.
Jan. 14th, 2004 04:19 amhave been killing time lately with some leftover & random yarn. trying to empty my yarn stash a bit before i head to the yarnshop again & again & again...

extra yarn = random things. neck cozies being one of them since they are really easy to do. basic knit rib stitch on number 10needles with added flower that i had crocheted a million years ago for a planned purse that never happened. redheart light&lofty yarn for the bulk of it.

another one in a different redheart light&lofty yarn. i also wanted to play with crocheting yarn & wire together with beads and that's what the appliquéd thingamabob is. looking back, i should have stitched it to something with a more contrasting colour since it just kind of gets lost, but ah well.. hindsight and all.

knitted on number7 doublepointed needles from some thick/thin wool so it got this neat bumpy texture and trimmed with some fun yarn from fuzzybumblebee that i single-stitch crocheted on. easy as pie. well, a really easy pie anyway.
