pictures:)
Jan. 19th, 2004 10:17 pmok like many here i got a digital camera for christmas (woot!) since i havent posted any of my stuff i finally got around to taking pictures of somethings and putting them online.
i learned to knit a few months back from my sister who taught herself about a year ago.
Soo From lamps to marble magnets to hand knitted items there are lots of random craftiness on the cut.
:)
this is a cherry head coif i made based on cyntergnome's pattern she put online in the knitting community. I didnt follow the pattern exactly because i didnt know how to crochet, but i still think it came out ok.

This is a collage ive been working on for a bit. its still a wip but i figured id post it anyways.

These are of course the obligatory marble magnet shot. I did a lot more than what's pictured. I had a simpson's group i made for my bf, a black and white group for my best friend and an abstract colorful funky group for my cousin. These are the leftovers.

This is a homespun blanket im working on. i was working on it like a fiend and now i havent touched it for over a month:/ i think i may pick it up again soon.

This is a scarf i made from some yarn from elann.com purple techno hair from gedifra and i forget what the red yarn was. very pretty stuff though. made from a pattern i made up using yo's and m1's.

This is another scarf i recently finished using a lionbrand imagine mohair blend yarn and a bernat soft boucle with the seed stitch.

This is a black wrist warmer i made (one in a set of two). this yarn was also from elann. gedifra something. i can figure out if anyones interested in it. i used the pattern from knitty except i changed it a little to use straights.

This is a lamp that i Love. i bought the base at target for like $1 and switched up the lamp part with a thick paper that i love. its polka dotted on one side and the other is black and white stripes. when its turned on you can faintly see the stripes under the polka dots and it looks really nifty.

This is a jewelry boc that a decoupaged. I have a habit of cutting out fun pictures from magazines. My mom signed me up for art in america and antiques magazines (found them free by browsing a coupons site)and they always have awesome pictures to cut out and decoupage with.

And that's it! I've stenciled some nifty shirts, bags, and other items for christmas but unfortunately I gave these things away before i could take pictures of them. Anyway, hoped you enjoyed!
