Paints in the bathroom
Jan. 20th, 2004 10:20 pmI have an old Caboodle (remember those?) that I still use to store makeup and whatnot. The problem is, it's a hideous 80s Pepto-Bismal pink color. I've tolerated it until now. I thought about decoupaging it, but I didn't know how to keep the pictures from getting damaged from moisture (a particular sealer, perhaps?). I keep the Caboodle in the bathroom, so it's exposed to the extreme temperature fluctuations and moisture. So, I thought, why not paint it? My question is, are there certain paints out there that are better for a bathroom environment than others? I need a paint that will stick to plastic and tolerate the climate of an everyday bathroom. Any suggestions for what types of paint are best are very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
