i know this sort of question has been asked before, and i did check the faq - but i didnt really find my answer.

i decided to try to start selling my crafts - things like jewelry and picture frames. maybe eventually ill expand, but thats where im at right now. i know a lot of you do this... im just wondering, how do i get traffic to my site/auctions? are there places on lj that really work for promotion? which is better for starting out? my own site or an ebay store/auction? im really lost on where to start. any help/advice/experiences would be so appreciated! thanks!
