Jan. 26th, 2004 12:23 amSo the skirt is going well. It's almost done.
What I did:
1. Sewed squares together in faintly trapezoidal shape. Well....it turned out more like, 5 squares on the top row, 6 on all the other rows (5, for a total of 6 rows).
2. Cut out trapezoid shape from other skirt onto my lining material.
3. Traced and cut out lining shape onto sheet of squares.
4. Sewed lining together
5. Sewed square sheets together.
6. Folded top edge down to make a tube for the drawstring.
7. The only thing really left to do is to put in the drawstring, and hem it.
It also helped that I had a good snow day to work on it.
